そもそもジェルネイルとポリッシュの違いとは？

結論から言うと、ジェルとポリッシュを混ぜたり重ねたりする行為はおすすめできません。

ジェルとポリッシュの併用がNGな理由は？
なぜジェルとポリッシュの併用がNGかと言うと、さきほど説明した通りジェルは樹脂・ポリッシュは塗料と、2つのアイテムはまったく別の原料でできているから。
そのため、ジェルとポリッシュは形状記憶の原理にも大きな違いがあるんです。
絵の具などの塗料と同じく、ポリッシュも空気に触れることで乾燥しますが、上からジェルを重ねてしまうといつまでも乾かず、少し触れるだけでネイルが簡単に崩れてしまいます。
また、ジェルネイルは専用のライトを当てて硬化するので、ポリッシュのように別の原料が混ざっていると化学反応が起こらず樹脂をしっかり固めることができないんです。
しかも、ジェルとポリッシュを混ぜて使うと発色も悪くなってしまうので、万が一お客様からリクエストがあっても2つのアイテムを併用してはいけません。
ただし、ジェルネイルの下地としてベース効果のあるポリッシュを塗るのは大丈夫です。
なかにはサンディング不要のベースコートもあるので、ジェルを塗る前の下準備の時間を削減することができます。
この場合、通常のジェルネイルより多少持ちが悪くなりますが、自爪にいきなりジェルを塗るのは抵抗がある！というお客様への対処法として覚えておいてくださいね。
ジェルネイルとポリッシュ需要があるのはどっち？
